What We Do
Seekon Community provides tools, resources, and accommodations for professionals working in rural communities to improve lives. Your support enables us to achieve our mission. Teachers, nurses, and other development professionals are assets in every community, but they are scare in rural communities where there are no or little resources to carry out their work. This is where your support comes in; making education, health care, food production training, among other things accessible to villagers.

Health Care
Healthcare in rural communities faces significant challenges, including a shortage of nurses, inadequate infrastructure, and affordability issues. These, most often, lead to outcomes like higher infant and maternal mortality rates. Our mission is focused on strengthening infrastructure, addressing workforce shortages, and creating community-based initiatives.

Education
The shortage of teachers in rural areas impacts the quality of education students receive. Mostly, students in these areas face low-quality education issues, perpetuating a cycle of poverty and marginalization within these communities. Without proper education, individuals are unable to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge needed for economic advancement and social mobility. Moreover, Teachers in remote areas often face challenges like treacherous travel, harsh weather, and unsuitable housing, making it difficult to attract and retain qualified educators.
