Our Work
Seekon Community helps individuals and remote communities access educational resources, health services, sustainable farming techniques, safe drinking water, etc. We work in places isolated by many barriers such as lack of roads and bridges. Our current and urgent focus is in the Seekon District where lack of shelter prevents teachers, nurses, and other essential professional from being assigned.

TEACHERS IN CLASSROOM
Education is essential for development, but lack of teachers is a nightmare for rural communities. Many teachers refuse being sent to remote villages with no shelter for them. Your support gives teacher a nice accommodation. GIVE NOW

Nurses most often live far from the villages and communities they serve. The sick have to wait for days or weeks to receive care. Your gift provides nurse shelter closer to the sick. GIVE NOW.
SUSTAINABLE FARMING
Rural farmers need advice and training in sustainable farming. Agriculture technicians need a place to stay in order to conduct workshops and training sessions. A gift for accommodation will ensure farmer training.

A $25 gift provides clean and safe drinking water for communities where mining activities pollute every creek or river that flows by. Help to provide hand pumps for these villages in their quest for safe drinking water.

URGENT NEED: ACCOMMODATION
The people of Pellokon, a remote village in Southeastern Liberia, have no suitable accommodation for teachers, nurses, and other development agents assigned in the area. The Seekon Community in America has started a ten-bedroom shelter in Pellokon to house agents of change working in the area. See the foundation on the right. Your gift will complete the building.
